Dr. Rozycki was lucky enough to call Florida home for three years. During her time in Jacksonville she enjoyed working at NAS Jacksonville in their Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program. She then served the Jacksonville community at Baptist Hospital offering outpatient therapy services at their Oakleaf Plantation location. Sadly, in 2019 it was time to say goodbye to the Sunshine State with her spouse’s military reassignment.
Why therapy for
women in florida?
In developing AROSE eTherapy®, Dr. Alicia Rozycki wanted to shift her practice focus to specifically offering online therapy catered towards women. In working in both the civilian sector and military settings, it became obvious that the concerns of women were unique.
Many women would come to therapy burned out from the burden of managing multiple roles including parenting, being a go-getter in their career, and maintaining a relationship. In addition to managing multiple roles, women often managed households, took aging parents to doctor’s appointments, and had little time or energy left for self-care.
Many women were settling for relationships where their partner was not pulling their weight. Oftentimes women, being caregivers, want to care for others, but this can also make it hard for women to say “no,” set boundaries, and carve out non-negotiable self-care time. It became clear; even superwomen need support.

and support for spouses in florida
Additionally, if you’re an active duty member, retiree, or military spouse, this practice is also for as Dr. Rozycki has extensive experience working with military, government employees, and spouses and has been in two of those roles herself. Active duty military women are often in difficult positions in a male dominated career field. For government employees, this can also be a challenge. For spouses, they know all too well the stress of managing it all while their spouse is TDY, deployed, or working long hours. Although not a single parent, many times it can feel that way. These unique roles call for unique support.

online Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Various therapeutic strategies are utilized in your work with AROSE eTherapy® although Cognitive Behavioral Therapy will guide most interventions. The primary initial goal of therapy will focus on symptom relief—let’s get you feeling better as soon as possible. Once you feel calm, relaxed, and finally get some sleep, we can then begin to focus on underlying concerns and ultimate goals.
Past significant experiences, family dynamics from your childhood, or key points in your adult history will be considered in understanding how you are functioning today. We’ll explore your history not as a place to stay stuck but as a tool for knowing how we can help you move forward. Where are there patterns?
Where are you now and where would you like to be in life? Let’s help you get clear on what you’d like to see change and then break the process down into manageable steps. Exercises will be suggested so you can maintain momentum in-between sessions and achieve your goals most efficiently.
Give yourself one hour a week to focus on your needs. Together we’ll focus on the tools to manage stress on your own going forward. Alleviate your symptoms, achieve your goals, and restore a healthy lifestyle.
